Open role

Kindwell, the operating company

Acquisitions Manager

Help Kindwell find the right clinician-founded practices and move them from a first conversation through a well-run acquisition process. The role sits where sourcing, founder relationships, underwriting analysis, diligence coordination and pipeline discipline meet. Founder-first and rigorous at the same time: a seller should leave every conversation with more clarity than they arrived with.

Why it exists

Kindwell's growth depends on acquiring exceptional practices that genuinely fit the model, and on running a process that gives founders clarity rather than noise. This role creates discipline across the acquisition pipeline while keeping the founder experience thoughtful, responsive and organized.

What you own

  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of acquisition opportunities against Kindwell's target profile.
  • Conduct initial research and help qualify whether a practice fits Kindwell's acquisition criteria.
  • Prepare founder conversations, organize follow-up, and keep opportunities moving with clear next steps.
  • Coordinate financial and operational information gathering and diligence workflows across internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain pipeline reporting so the company knows what is real, what is next, and where things are stuck.
  • Support valuation and underwriting analysis using available practice data, in service of decisions made by company leadership.
  • Help make the move from a signed opportunity into operating handoff clean and well documented.

What good looks like

  • Founders experience a clear, responsive process without unnecessary confusion.
  • The pipeline reflects real probability rather than optimistic CRM noise.
  • Internal teams have the information they need before decisions are made.
  • Diligence stays organized, risks surface early, and handoffs are clean.
  • Kindwell spends its time on practices that actually fit the model.

Who you work with

Kindwell leadership, along with finance and operations, outside advisors where applicable, and the practice founders themselves.

  • Strong financial and business judgment; comfortable reading operating and financial information.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple live workstreams and follow-up without losing detail.
  • A clear written communicator who can synthesize a messy situation into decision-ready information.
  • Comfortable in founder conversations where trust and responsiveness matter.
  • High discretion and judgment with confidential business information.
